Designer // communication & media specialist
Kiri was born at a young age, and immediately (OK, not immediately) began making things, fueled by curiosity, creativity, and frustration with traditional (test-focused, lecture-based, prison-like) education.
She taught herself to play guitar (she had all the right influences to be great at it), started a band, and with a (legal!) copy of Photoshop 5, dove headfirst into designing websites (remember frames?), promotional flyers, and album artwork. After a few post-college retail jobs, she had assembled a modest (it was bad, y’all) portfolio and landed her first job as a graphic designer. Since then, she has worked on three multi-million dollar capital campaigns (they made more than she did), supervised in-house print production (machines > people?), and shown her fine art works in galleries across the country (OK, three cities).
She currently resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan, loves abstract expressionism (no, your three-year-old couldn’t make that), introverts hard, and talks about Star Wars characters as if they are real people.
